Abbey Fisher
Abbey Fisher is the Organizer of the Jubilee York, PA, chapter. She has been involved with the U.S. Jubilee movement since 2000, and serves on Jubilee USA's Coordinating Committee. In 2006, Abbey joined the Jubilee staff as the National Speaking Tour Coordinator and had an amazing experience working with international speakers, local organizers and community groups.
Abbey's professional background is in media and communications and she has appeared on behalf of Jubilee on radio and TV programs in southeastern Pennsylvania, including her hometown of York.
She has also presented on debt cancellation to diverse audiences throughout the northeastern U.S. In 2003, Abbey traveled to South Africa with Jubilee and several partner organizations, a trip that deepened her commitment to canceling debt and ending poverty around the world.
