Pat Rumer
Patricia Rumer founded the Jubilee 2000 chapter in Portland, Oregon in 1999. She has extensive experience in Latin American and learned about the debt in the early 1980's when Mexico defaulted on loans to Northern banks. She currently serves as Co-chair of the Jubilee USA Network Coordinating Council and participated in the Jubilee USA delegation to Africa in January 2007. She is an adjunct professor at Portland State University and is teaching a senior Capstone on Debt and the Milennium Development Goals.
