Melinda St. Louis is Deputy Director of Jubilee USA. has more than a decade of experience in policy advocacy, communications, and non-profit management both in Washington, DC and on the ground in developing countries. Prior to joining Jubilee, Melinda served as Executive Director of Witness for Peace, a Jubilee USA Network Council member organization whose mission is to change US economic and military policy towards Latin America through grassroots education, advocacy, and non-violent action.
At Witness for Peace, Melinda also served as Campaigns and Advocacy Coordinator and as a educator and analyst in Managua, Nicaragua. Melinda has also worked for the Campaign for Labor Rights and the Solidarity Center of the AFL-CIO. She has lived on the ground in developing countries including in Nicaragua and El Salvador. Melinda holds a Masters of Public Policy in International Policy and Development from the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute.
