Jubilee Sunday annually provides an opportunity for communities of faith to hold a Sunday service focused on the principles of Jubilee. On this day, Jubilee Congregations around the United States dedicate part or all of their time together to pray for global economic justice, deepen the communityís understanding of the debt issue, take concrete action for debt cancellation for all impoverished countries, and receive a special offering to support the work of the Jubilee USA Network.
Worship resources, including sermon notes, prayers, liturgies, reflections on the lectionary scriptures for Jubilee Sunday, which may also be used for other services, will be available from Jubilee USA for use in your congregation.
