Join Jubilee For Ecumenical Advocacy Days

Ecumenical Advocacy Days: March 10-13, 2006
Jubilee USA invites you to join over 900 faith-based justice advocates in Washington, DC, March 10-13 for Ecumenical Advocacy Days. The 2006 conference, “Challenging Disparity: The Promise of God – The Power of Solidarity,” will be the largest national gathering of U.S. grassroots progressive religious activists focused on the broad spectrum of international and domestic policies.

Apply now for a scholarship from Jubilee USA to attend Advocacy Days. Applications are due February 6, 2006 at 5pm EST.

Jubilee USA is co-leading a conference track on Global Economic Justice including debt & trade issues. The track examines global economic injustice and highlights ways to build an economically equitable world. Wahu Kaara, a 2005 Nobel Peace Prize Nominee, will be one of Global Economic Justice plenary speakers. She currently is the Millennium Development Goals campaign program coordinator at the All Africa Council of Churches in Nairobi, Kenya and was an inspiring speaker during Jubilee’s fall speaking tour.
