The following are quotes taken from:

1. "O mankind! We...made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other)." (The Qur'an 49:13)

2. "He who sleeps on a full stomach whilst his neighbour goes hungry is not one of us." (Prophet Muhammad)

3. " can have nothing but what he strives for." (The Qur'an 53:39)

4. "A believer wants for his brother what he wants for himself." (Prophet Muhammad)

5. "O People, regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds." (The last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad)

6. "All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black, nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action." (The last Sermon of Prophet Muhammad)

7. "He (Allah) has set up the balance (of justice), in order that ye may not transgress (due) balance. So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance." (The Qur'an 55: 7-9)

8. "Pay Zakat out of your property, for truly it is a purifier which purifies you, and be kind to your relatives, and acknowledge the rights of the poor, neighbors and beggars." (Prophet Muhammad)

9. "The best of you is he (or she) who is of most benefit to others." (Prophet Muhammad)

10. "The world is beautiful and verdant, and verily God, be He exalted, has made you His stewards in it, and He sees how you acquit yourselves." (Prophet Muhammad)

11. "If any Muslim plants a tree or sows a field, and a human, bird or animal eats from it, it shall be reckoned as charity from him." (Prophet Muhammad)

12. "Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves (with their own souls)." (The Qur'an 13:11)

13. "Whoever relieves his brother of a trial or a difficulty in this life, God will relieve him of a trial in the next life." (Prophet Muhammad)

14. "Each one of you is a shepherd and each one of you shall be asked for his sheep." (Prophet Muhammad)

15. "Allah commands justice, the doing of good, and liberality to kith and kin, and He forbids all shameful deeds, and injustice and rebellion" (The Qur'an: 16:90)

 16. "Allah will deprive usury of all blessing, but will give increase for deeds of charity:" (The Qur'an 2:276)

17. "If the debtor is in a difficulty, grant him time till it is easy to repay. But if ye remit it by way of charity, that is best for you, if ye only knew." (The Qur'an 2:280)

24. "Whoever of you see a wrong, he should change it with his hand; and if he cannot do that [he should change it] with his tongue; and if he cannot do that [he should change it] with his heart and that is the weakest of faith." (Prophet Muhammad)

25. "O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other)." (The Qur'an 49:11-13)

26. "Live in this world as if you were going to live forever; prepare for the next world as if you were going to die tomorrow." (Prophet Muhammad)

29. "Give just measure, and cause no loss (to others by fraud).  And weigh with scales true and upright.  And withhold not things justly due to men, nor do evil in the land, working mischief." (The Qur'an 26:181-184)

30. "O ye who believe!  Eat not up your property-among yourselves in vanities: but let there be amongst you traffic and trade by mutual good-will" (The Qur'an 4:29)
