Take 5 Minutes. Make the Call That Could Change the Future of 67 Countries. Help make history by passing the Jubilee Act this year! Please call your  Senator and urge him/her to co-sponsor the Jubilee Act (S 2166)!

Thanks to your phone calls, postcards, visits, faxes, financial donations and strong bipartisan support and Congressional leadership, the Jubilee Act (HR 2634) was passed by a vote of 285 to 132 in the House in April. Then later that month, the Senate Foreign Relations Committee held a hearing on the Jubilee Act (S. 2166).

Call Your Member of Congress

There remains a tremendous unfinished agenda on debt. Vulture funds and new lenders are undermining debt cancellation. More impoverished countries need debt cancellation to fight poverty. An audit of odious and illegitimate lending is long overdue.

Get educated on the debt issue and take action by urging your Senator to co-sponsor the Jubilee Act (S 2166).
