The Outreach Associate position is an internship that works closely with Jubilee USA's grassroots team on our newest advocacy campaigns. The associate will also work with the policy team to write policy resources for grassroots supporters, but particularly focus on Jubilee's grassroots advocacy. The position will include a wide range of responsibilities: - Working closely with Jubilee's outreach team to design and implement grassroots campaigns;
- Creating grassroots-friendly education, worship and campaign materials;
- Working closely with and supporting a network of volunteers across the country;
- Supporting the Jubilee Congregations program;
- Designing and implementing e-activism and new media campaigns; and
- Working with staff on other staff-wide priority projects as need arises
Applicants must exhibit commitment to social and economic justice, strong written skills, personable with strong phone communication skills, self-motivated and be able to work well with people of diverse backgrounds. Knowledge of international debt, economic justice issues is a plus. All types of organizing experience is preferred. Positive attitude a must!
The Development and Executive Associate position is an internship that works directly with Jubilee USA's Executive Director and Communications Director. They will have the opportunity to learn about nonprofit fundraising, grant applications and direct mail outreach. Jubilee USA receives support from foundations, individual supporters, faith communities and network members. This position is suited well for individuals interested in business or nonprofit administration. Tasks include: - Assist in increasing online donor fundraising
- Organize, write and assemble grant proposals
- Conduct donor outreach
- Help prepare annual fundraising appeal and annual report
- Update and write web and print materials for donor outreach
- Provide administrative support including:
- Data entry: Entering new supporters and updating existing supporters in our databases
- Office functions: Assist with direct mailings and other related administrative work to support Jubilee's development activities
- Draft and edit documents, spreadsheets and reports related to the daily operations of the organization
- Play a key role in organizing and coordinating logistics for Jubilee USA's annual meeting (fall only)
- Arrange meetings and plan events
- Attend Jubilee USA Network meetings, coalition events and related conferences
The Policy and Advocacy Associate position is an internship that works closely with Jubilee USA's policy team on our newest advocacy campaigns. Encompassing both policy and advocacy, this position will include a wide range of research, writing, lobbying, outreach, organizing and policy education that supports Jubilee's campaign priorities. Tasks include: - Maintain Jubilee's advocacy databases
- Support the policy and advocacy team in communications with Congress and DC-based partner organizations
- Update advocacy-related content for Jubilee website
- Research and write Jubilee materials used for outreach to policymakers and the public
- Assist in outreach to Jubilee's grassroots community, through phone calls, email communication and meetings on specific campaigns
- Communicate with faith communities about newest activities and campaigns
- Work closely with Jubilee's advocacy team to design and implement grassroots campaigns including grassroots-friendly education, worship and campaign materials
- Work closely with and support a network of volunteers across the country
- Design and implement e-activism and new media campaigns
- Provide administrative support including:

The Communications Associate position is an internship that works directly with the Communications Director. This position will include everyday maintenance and special projects related to both Jubilee USA's internal and external communications including writing and editing online content, organizational resources and press materials. This position is best suited for individuals interested in engaging in the nuts and bolts of media outreach and relations. Experience preferred. - Write and coordinate press materials

The Social Media Associate works directly with Jubilee USA's Communications Director. This associate will have the opportunity to learn about social media strategy, online communications and online organizing. Social media is increasingly becoming an essential part of outreach and communications for any organization. Jubileeās Social Media Associate will play an integral part in creating and implementing social media strategy. This associate will: - Research and develop social media strategies
- Create graphics and memes
- Increase engagement and following on all of Jubilee's social media platforms
The Muslim Community Outreach Associate will help connect and facilitate the growth of our interfaith alliance within the Muslim community, and to strengthen our interfaith network to reflect the diversity of our communities and globe. Responsibilities include a minimum of ten hours a week helping to: - Develop Muslim specific grassroots materials,
- Strategic outreach to local and regional mosques and Muslim communities, and
- Support building Jubilee USA network's long-term relationships to Muslim community members.
