We are fast approaching our annual Jubilee Network Council Meeting on Thursday, November 9th. As you know, all members of the Jubilee Network Council are required to send a representative to vote for new Jubilee board members and plan our campaigns for next year. We are excited to be joined by Congressional staff, global experts and southern partners as we plan our next steps.
You, your staff and interns are invited to join us from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM for our annual meeting and strategy session at our offices in the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol St., NE Washington, DC 20003. Directly following, you are invited to a Jubilee Capitol Building Congressional Keynote from Mons. Roberto Gonzalez, Archbishop of the Catholic Diocese of San Juan as well as other Puerto Rico religious leaders. They will explain next policy steps for Puerto Rico, USVI and Dominica.
We are grateful that national religious groups, Oxfam and CEPR will be among this year's presenters. Strategy sessions will include: financing of human trafficking, access of vulnerable communities for medicines in trade agreements, new initiatives to stop vulture funds and our efforts for debt relief for Caribbean islands.
Twenty dollar ($20) registration covers up to five staff/interns. It includes lunch and an evening US Capitol reception. Register today by clicking here!
You may also send a check in advance. If you send a check, please submit it to: Jubilee USA Network, 212 East Capitol St NE, Washington, D.C. 20003 (memo: “2017 Network Council Meeting”).
