The legislation we just passed includes $600 million in emergency food assistance for Puerto Rico benefiting more than a million people. In total more than $900 million in disaster assistance for Puerto Rico passed the House and Senate. We also expedited the release of $8.9 billion we already won for Puerto Rico disaster relief.
We have a commitment after 6 months of work from President Trump to sign disaster assistance into law.
